The tone and value are strong on this one compared to your other works. The color theme does make the character unambiguous. I do not think having the right ear blurred like that would be a good idea. It would be ok if it was somewhat visible. Your 3 point rule is rather interesting. I wouldn't make the subject in the middle of the art piece if it were an art illustration but as of the portrait, i think it looks rather nice like this. In the art illustration, it would look interesting if the mythical creature were to swivel around the subject from the 3 point rule so the eye can follow the direction to the subject.

In this piece I think it's one of your best art work.
